Welcome to the Jr Trailblazers Spring Hockey Program, where young athletes come to develop their skills, build friendships, and experience the thrill of competitive hockey. In our second year of existence, we are excited to offer a dynamic and inclusive program that caters to players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
Our Philosophy
At Jr Trailblazers, our philosophy revolves around creating a positive and supportive environment where players can thrive both on and off the ice. While we value competition and strive for success, our primary focus is on fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among our players. We believe that by instilling a “Team First” mindset from the grassroots level, we can empower our players to excel in all aspects of their lives.
Commitment to Development
We understand the importance of balanced athletic development, and we encourage our players to participate in other sports and activities outside of hockey. However, we also emphasize the importance of commitment to the team and expect all teammates to prioritize their responsibilities both on and off the ice.
Program Overview
- Duration: March to June
- Location: Poco Community Center
- Age Groups: From 2015 to 2012
- Team Placement: Players will be placed on one of our two teams based on their skill level and age group.

Training Programs
- Practice Schedule: Two to three times weekly
- Practice Locations: Poco Community Center
- Tournament Participation: Teams have the opportunity to participate in tournaments throughout the spring season. Typically 3 tournaments including 1 travel tournament.
- Program Costs: Program costs range from approximately $1500 to $2500 for the season, including tournaments, practice ice times, jerseys, coaching fees, team insurance, and evaluations.
