Cadence is 2005 forward from West Vancouver.

Cadence last season played for Shawnigan Lake U18 where he registered 5 points in 16 games. Stanley also brings loads of experience, playing in West Van Prep, North West Hawks and U17 for Shawnigan where he was assistant captain.

Brendan is a local Port Coquitlam boy, who is coming off his rookie season with White Rock.

With the Whalers he played 37 games, and previously played for Rink Hockey Academy and North East Chiefs Zone!

“Bringing Hous back home to play in Port Coquitlam was a big priority this summer. We’re super excited for this year, and more to come from the young Dman” says GM Ryan Ross.

Cohen is a Maple Ridge forward who played for the Chase Heat last season.

Cohen previously helped lead his Ridge Meadows team to provincials in 2021. Cohen brings size and grit, along with offensive ability, already having an assist in our first game.

“Since trading for Cohen, he has already become a big piece to our locker room, taking the role of being the first there and last to leave, always helping his teammates. We can’t wait to see what Co can do with an opportunity!” Says GM Ryan Ross.

Sean was born and raised in Port Coquitlam, and has played for Port Coquitlam for his entire hockey career.

Sean was the starting goalie for the PoCo Pirates U18 A1 team for the past three seasons, as well as for the Trailblazers Spring Super-League over the past two spring leagues.

“When Sean first heard that the Trailblazers were returning to PoCo for the 2023/24 season, he immediately set his goals on making the team. From spending 7 days a week at the gym, to investing in dozens of hours of private goalie coaching, Sean devoted his entire spring and summer to achieving top physical and mental form leading into September.” Says GM Ryan Ross.

Nick is a 6’1 190 lb 2007 born forward from Port Moody.

Nick spent last season on U17 North East Chiefs where he had 14 points in 30 games with 10 goals. Howler is a hard hitting intense player who sets the tone immediately when on the ice. Nick has committed to growing and learning while making the jump to the junior hockey level. Howling has already grown great bonds with teammates and staff.

Gavin is a 6’5 shut down Defence man from Cranbrook, BC.

Last season, Gavin played U18 zone for EK Avalanche where his team won the U18 Tier One Provincial Championship. Originally committing to Univ of Michigan Flint, Gavin decided to stay in BC and play Junior A this season. Sammartino, impressed our coaching staff at Global and since then, has only improved. We’re excited to have Gavin be a big force on our D-Core.

Josh Gallello is a 2006 born forward from Port Coquitlam.

His eagerness to learn every ice time, and his good shot, will make him a great addition.

Josh had 35 points in 39 games last year for the Poco U18 A1 team and looks to have a great rookie season in his hometown.

Cole is a 6’1” 2006 born forward from Langley.

Last season Cole played for Langley U18 A1 and affiliated with the Langley Trappers. Cole has a massive amount of potential as a good skater and gritty player with a lot of offensive upside. Brandow impressed during our All-Star Camp and was awarded a roster spot for this coming year. We’re excited to see what Cole will do with this great opportunity!

Linden is a 2 years veteran of the league and most recently had 10 points in 11 playoff games last season.

“Our staff has known Linden for a long time, coaching him in Cloverdale in 2018. Linden is a big game player, and excels in both ends of the ice. His big frame and quick release will make him a great addition to our squad this season”, says GM Ryan Ross.

Devon Atwal is a 2006 born D-Man from Semiahmoo.

Devon brings experience after a big year last season; Assistant Captain for Semi A1 and splitting 16 games as a Ap for Valley West Giants and Aldergrove Kodiaks. Deevo is a 2-way defenceman with a great stick and gap control. Atwal impressed both at the ID Camp and All-Star Camp, awarding him a roster spot for our inaugural season! Our staff is very excited to see Devon’s growth this season.

Foster Marsh is from Lynden Wa USA 🇺🇲!

Foster has grown an incredible amount in the past year. Last season, Foster split his season between Hampton Road Whalers in the USPHL where he had 2 points in 8 games, and Sharpshooter hockey academy where he had 26 points in 30 games. Foster has great hands and vision, along with a good scoring touch. His great touch close to the net will make him a fan favourite in no time!

Tryston Hickson is a big shutdown D-Man from Port Coquitlam.

He is a strong skating defenseman with great upside. Tryston played 28 games last season in the PJHL. T also recorded 18 points in 24 games two seasons ago with Poco U18.

Leo brings an abundance of experience as he split his season between North Van Wolfpack and North West Hawks u18 zone. Leo is a versatile forward with great skating and quick release. Leo is a young player who is ready for any opportunity. Off the ice, he has quickly become a huge part of our locker room, creating valuable bonds with teammates and coaching staff.

Ryan brings along 2 years of experience to our first year franchise where he produced 16 points in that time.

Ty had 8 points in 29 games last season between the Delta Ice Hawks and White Rock Whalers. Ty also had 27 points on Valley U17 the year previous.

Matthew is a hardworking, talented skater who has a great shot.

Matthew’s speed is the key to his offence, along with his great vision of teammates and general hockey sense.

Matt brings along a lot of experience, including 15 PJHL games, over 40 CSSHL games, and U18 prep. Matt is a young player who’s eager to capitalize on an opportunity, and we’re very excited to give him that! Off the ice, Matt has grown a quick bond to everyone involved in our organization, from players to coaches.

Kyle Mclaren is a 2006-born defenceman from Langley with massive potential.

Kyle had a great year captaining the Langley U18 A1 team. His leadership amongst teammates, both on and off the ice with Langley last season, really showed within him and his team’s gameplay. Kyle’s gap control and edge he plays with will translate well into junior hockey. Kyle has experience affiliating with the PJHL this past season, achieving 14 points with the Sharpshooter U18 program in 2021. Kyle off the ice is eager to learn from veterans and pushes himself every day on the ice.

Matias Fisher was the first signed player in franchise history!

Matias is a 2006 forward who has great hands, a great shot, and great knowledge of the game; not to mention a great sense of leadership. Matias is coming off of being the captain of the Semi U18 A1’s as only a second year player in U18.
Matias brings his experience from BCEHL and PJHL affiliation to a new team. Fisher off the ice pushes himself and teammates to be better every single ice time, showcasing his great work ethic and commitment.

Blake Van Straten is a 2005 born forward with great on ice awareness and speed.

Blake’s experience with 60 plus games in the CSSHL and 60 plus games in the BCEHL will add some experience and great value to our team. Off the ice, Blake is a fantastic teammate who demonstrates leadership and strong work ethic.

Milin Aujla was playing for Northfield Mount Hermon Prep school in Massachusetts in the USHS where he had 12 points in 28 games.

Milin brings along a lot of experience from 5 years in the CSSHL for St. George’s playing over 120 games. Milin brings great work ethic and character off the the ice to our first year team.
